Will only geeks 'Watch the Watchmen'?

For a comic book geek, Watchmen doesn’t disappoint.

The moments you’ve waited to see in motion for years are all there, albeit a few altered, some for worse and some for better. Snyder delivered what I thought to be an incredible adaption of the graphic novel. The only issue is, will the public accept it as well as we geeks do? I don’t think they will.

Well I personally dug the movie a lot (small criticisms here and there though) I feel the movie going public will fail to grasp everything the story attempts to tell us. This doesn’t mean I’m smarter, it just means I’ve had 15 plus years of reading and studying. If I’m wrong, great. If not, then I think it will unfortunately be billed as “over-hyped”.

As far as comic geeks are concerned though, I’m sticking with “delivers” as my statement.
