I wish I could go to SDCC, but for some cruel reason, the creator of this big blue thing we're all existing on put me on the opposite coast of its awesomely goodness. Needless to say, if I had a couple of grand to spare, I'd be there, dressed up like you, Ash. Why, you ask? Because you rock the f-bomb house! I love you, man, you make me laugh until I almost pee a little on a pretty regular basis. And you also entertain me with quality television. TSCC being just one of those shows, but very near and dear to my heart. And I don't care what anyone else says, Fringe effing rules! Looking forward to Season 2!

Great article. I loved it! Keep being mildly insane (with a bit more emphasis on the insane). We like you that way.

What you said. I came to Comic Con for the first time (from the UK, which is more money than I like to think of and involved a sticky and horrifying transfer in Dallas Fort Worth I am trying to block from my mind) and so many people seemed to be worrying about the stuff they hadn't done, that things that weren't working, the people they'd missed out meeting and all that kind of gubbins.

Me? I saw Jeffster play live, I watched the final unfilmed episode of The Middleman sat so close it was like the cast had come to my living room to act it out for me in person, and I went home with a My Little Pony that is both a superhero AND a supervillain depending on which way you turn her. All in a city that was sunny enough I came home with a bit of a tan, had proper Mexican nachos the like of which I have never had in my life and, inexplicably, policemen and women whose sole job seemed to be to ensure geeks could cross the road. And I bloody loved every minute of it. I guess I'm uncool. But actually I don't give a toss.

Great blog post!

That rocked Ash, thanks. Never been to a con in my life, but that's what I get for being born Australian.

Normally I don't care about the ramblings of an "Industry Professional" but you write the ramblings in such a fashion I can't help but say, "fuck yeah! He's right!"
