Top Five Musicians Whose Lives Should be Turned into Oscar-bait Biopics

For every Control there’s a Ray, and for every Backbeat there’s a Beyond the Sea.

I have yet to watch Walk the Line, but Control was mind-blowing, and I still rewatch Backbeat whenever it’s on TV (And seriously, why hasn’t Johnny Depp played Adam Ant yet?).  Rumour has it Dakota Fanning is set to play the lead singer of Joan Jett’s band in an upcoming film. So who else should become fodder for the Hollywood profit-wringing mill?

(Tiffany almost made the list, but have you ever done a Google Image search for Tiffany? Yeesh.)

Who did I miss? Whose drug-laden meteoric rise to fame and subsequent abysmal fall should be captured on film for everyone to watch whether they like it or not?
