Good killings are to be expected, but definitely more focused on the simplicity of the first (returning director James Wong) than on the mythology of the second.
Of interest is the ‘Choose Their Fate’ version on the 2-disc DVD set. Plays like an old ‘choose your own adventure’ book but does hold some decent novelty factor. Nice touch.
Bottom Line: RENT it. Gore fans should probably wait and buy a used copy.
