Available 09.12.06 and only until 12.31.06, each 2-disc set… (yes… EACH set) will contain the remastered special edition of each movie of the original trilogy, and (FINALLY) the theatrical version of each film as well.
This is the only way to see Han shoot first, and to rock out to the Ewok’s ‘Lapti Nek’ in full HD glory. Remember the special effects that weren’t perfect, but you loved them anyway? They’re there too.
MSRP is $43.98 so you can probably expect it to be about $36.99 CA at major retailers. So the hardcore fans who will now own upwards of 6 editions of the same movies, will be able to give Lucas another $120.
